Bagel Suspense......
There currently is a women at the other end of the break room fishing through a bag of what appears to be community food (ie food from some meeting put out for other people). At this point we can't be sure if its something yummy (like cookies or doughnuts) or something less yummy (day old sandwich fixins or fruit).

I've never seen anyone take SO LONG to decide if they were grabbing something out of the bag of food. It was at least 2 minutes of nothing but staring at the computer screen and staring back over to see if the women had moved on with their newfound treats.
to be sure, men and women do not think alike about food
one theory: the complicated
food-weight-self esteem
thought process
both men and women put undue pressure on expectations of thin beauty in our society
this distorts behavior based on (dietary discipline => self worth) and its destructive converse
on the dark side
binging, bulemia, &anorexia
on the light side
food choice indecisivness
(how long does it take a woman to select from a restaurant menu vs a man)
& The 7 Degrees of Fat
(where a woman can connect any comment in less than 7 steps to some remark about how fat she is!)
On the serious side, note how a guy says when turning down a dessert "No thanks, I'm trying to cut back" vs the woman's "No, I'm trying to be good".
